At Sudeeksha Shiv Trust, we believe that true empowerment begins with knowledge—especially the kind of knowledge that isn’t always found in traditional textbooks. Recently, our dedicated team of leaders and volunteers visited the Ramphal PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School in Bhiwani to conduct a comprehensive life-skills and awareness workshop for the students.
Prioritizing Mental Health in Young Minds
In today’s fast-paced and highly competitive world, the emotional well-being of our youth is far too often overlooked. A primary focus of our outreach was Mental Health Awareness. We worked to create a safe, judgment-free space where students felt comfortable discussing their anxieties, academic pressures, and emotional struggles. By teaching them that “it is okay to not be okay” and guiding them on how to seek help, our goal is to completely break the stigma surrounding mental health in our communities.
Shattering Taboos: Health & Sex Education
Equally critical was our session on Adolescent Health and Sex Education—a topic that remains heavily stigmatized in many parts of our society. Approaching the subject with the utmost sensitivity and scientific accuracy, our team educated the students about bodily changes, personal boundaries, menstrual hygiene, and reproductive health. Knowledge is the strongest shield against exploitation, abuse, and disease. We ensured that these young boys and girls left the session feeling informed, confident, and secure in their own bodies.

A Holistic Approach to Growth
The conversations didn’t stop there. The highly interactive session also touched upon career guidance, digital safety, and the importance of daily nutrition. Looking at the bright smiles, curious questions, and immense enthusiasm of the students in the photograph, our hearts were full. It was a beautiful, open dialogue where the youth felt heard, respected, and truly valued.
Moving Forward
